POP FALSE CEILING
Plaster of Paris is most commonly used false ceiling material. It is cheapest amongst all the false ceiling materials. POP is mixed with water and is applied to fibre board or wood base which suspends to form the ceiling. It requires artistic workmanship.

Advantages of POP False Ceiling are that it has smooth finish, surface can be customized however the client likes it, easy to construct, lightweight, etc. The thickness is about 12- 15 mm so it feels almost as tall as your original ceiling while making it more beautiful. It is pocket friendly and lasts very long with zero maintenance. If you combine it with creative designs and LED lights, it looks fabulous.
WHY POP?
POP is available in the powdered form and is mixed with water on site. This mixture is applied on a chicken mesh, which offers mechanical strength, and is then attached to a metal frame system. POP can be moulded into any shape in its hydrated form; as it dries, it hardens and retains the set shape. POP is a highly durable material. Since the same material is used for filling joints, it does not show cracks easily.
